We are seeking a highly skilled Hospital Facilities Engineer to join our team at CBW Staffing Solutions in Cambridge. This exciting opportunity offers a competitive salary of £44,500 per annum.

About the Role

">

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the mechanical and fabric systems within a hospital setting. These duties will include:

">
  • Monitoring and maintaining mechanical plant and equipment
  • Pumps, motors, seals, and bearings maintenance
  • Air conditioning system maintenance, including air handling units and fan coil unit cleaning
  • Water treatment tasks, including temperature checks and monitoring
  • Plumbing duties, such as unblocking toilets and replacing taps
  • Monitoring BMS systems and performing basic electrical tasks
  • General building fabric maintenance
  • Escorting specialist subcontractors on-site

Working Hours and Overtime

The working hours for this role will be Monday to Friday, with early and late shifts available (07:00 - 15:00 and 14:00 - 22:00). Overtime opportunities will also be available.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Mechanical qualifications, such as NVQ or City & Guilds
  • Trade certificates
  • A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
  • Multi-skilled abilities
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to obtain Enhanced DBS clearance
