Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Sister

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Band 6 Sister to join our team of highly skilled professionals in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in neonatal nursing and will be able to demonstrate excellent leadership and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Ward Manager in the promotion of a high standard of care for babies and families.
- Take charge of the ward in the absence of the ward manager and provide leadership to junior colleagues and students.
- Develop and implement effective care plans to meet the needs of patients and their families.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve patient care.
- Registered nurse with a strong background in neonatal nursing.
- Minimum 2 years post-registration experience on a neonatal unit at Band 5.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a busy environment.
- Ability to remain calm and work effectively in pressure situations.
