Housekeeper Team Member

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Housekeeper Team Member in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our patients and staff. The successful candidate will work closely with the nurse in charge and other healthcare professionals to maintain a smooth-running unit.
Key Responsibilities- To ensure the delivery of cleaning services, stocking equipment, ordering stores, catering, and other tasks to meet individual patient needs as determined by the sister/charge nurse.
- To monitor quality standards, report deficiencies, and take appropriate action to maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
- To work closely with contractors and support service departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly in written and spoken English.
- Computer literacy and proficiency in using initiative in problem-solving.
- Able to prioritize tasks effectively and maintain a high standard of interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of Health and Safety at work and training in COSHH.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision and demonstrate a positive approach to team working and commitment to team objectives.
The successful candidate will be required to work in a busy environment and must be able to respond to emergencies as appropriate and according to Trust policy.

As a valued member of our team, you will receive a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including:
