An exciting new role has emerged for a skilled Senior Support Worker to work in a top-notch residential care home based in Suffolk.

This exceptional care home provides high-quality residential care, dementia care, and respite care.

To be considered for this position, you must have an NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care.

As a Senior Support Worker, your key duties include:

  • Recognizing and meeting the daily needs of residents
  • Conducting formal supervisions and appraisals
  • Contributing to care planning and coaching support workers
  • Taking an active professional role in promoting services when dealing with relatives, prospective residents, and enquiries
  • Participating in updating and writing care plans and resident documentation
  • Making and reporting realistic assessments of each resident to ensure continuity of care
  • Administering medication to residents in accordance with policies and procedures

The following skills and experience would be beneficial for the role:

  • Proven experience of working in a care setting
  • A good team player
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • A genuine desire to care for others

This rewarding position offers a competitive salary of £24,336 per annum (£13.00 per hour) and comes with comprehensive benefits.
