Job Summary

Jupiter Recruitment is seeking a Senior Support Worker to join our team in the Woodbridge, Suffolk area. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in an exceptional residential care home and make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents.

About the Role

This permanent full-time position requires 36 hours of work per week on nights. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to residents, including conducting supervisions and appraisals, contributing to care planning, and administering medication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recognize and facilitate the daily needs of residents
  • Conduct formal supervisions and appraisals
  • Contribute to care planning and coaching support workers
  • Participate in updating and writing care plans and resident documentation
  • Be responsible for making and reporting realistic assessments of each resident to ensure continuity of care
  • Administer medication to residents in accordance with policies and procedures
Requirements
  • NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent qualification
  • Proven experience working in a care setting
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • A genuine desire to care for others
