Deputy Ward Manager/Charge Nurse – CAMHS

Join our team at Merco Medical Staffing Limited and take on a challenging role as a Deputy Ward Manager/Charge Nurse in our CAMHS Low Secure Unit. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical care and risk management to young people aged 13-18 with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the efficient and safe delivery of clinical care and risk management
  • Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to achieve positive outcomes
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to junior staff
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training

Requirements:

  • Active registration with the NMC and meeting the requirements of revalidation
  • Trained mentor with experience in clinical supervision
  • Evidence of continued professional development and intent to maintain and develop CPD
  • Highly developed communication and leadership skills
  • Good computer skills and experience in mental health or learning disability services
