About the Role: We are recruiting for a Governance and Compliance Specialist to join our client's Global Operations Team at their award-winning, forward-thinking law firm based in London. This role is perfect for a motivated professional who combines technical expertise with exceptional collaborative skills and a drive to maintain and elevate operational standards.

The Governance and Compliance Specialist will be responsible for reviewing, updating, and creating policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and operational clarity across jurisdictions. They will oversee governance processes for policy approval, including managing Policies and Procedures Committees. Additionally, they will lead and support initiatives to develop new services in response to client needs, regulatory changes, or service line growth, with a focus on fund services solutions.

The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent, preferably with a legal qualification, although governance, compliance, or accounting qualifications will also be considered. They should have demonstrated experience in a similar role within a regulated business or a legal background advising corporate services businesses. Strong technical skills and proven expertise in drafting policies and procedures aligned with industry best practices are essential. The salary for this role is estimated to be around £70,000-£90,000 per annum.
