About the Role

We are seeking an experienced E-commerce Manager to lead our digital sales efforts and drive online growth for Trafalgar Scientific Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement E-commerce Strategies: Create and execute plans to increase online sales, enhance customer experience, and optimize website performance.
  • Manage the Company Website: Oversee the management of our B2B/B2C online sales, product catalogue, and digital content to ensure seamless customer experience.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop market pricing and strategy, analyze website traffic, and optimize conversion rates.
  • Lead and Manage the E-commerce and Marketing Team: Foster a high-performing team to achieve key objectives, drive team growth, and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Oversee Digital Marketing Campaigns: Develop and execute email marketing, social media advertising, and search engine optimization (SEO) campaigns to enhance our online presence.
  • Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Track and analyze KPIs to measure the effectiveness of e-commerce and marketing initiatives and generate regular reports.
  • Manage Relationships with Third-Party Vendors: Build and maintain relationships with vendors, agencies, and technology partners to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Related Field: A degree in a relevant field is essential for this role.
  • Proficiency in Web Analytics Tools and Digital Marketing Channels: Experience with web analytics tools and digital marketing channels is necessary for success in this position.
  • Excellent Analytical Skills and Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are required to analyze website traffic and optimize conversion rates.
  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal Abilities: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to work effectively with cross-functional teams and vendors.
  • Ability to Work Effectively in a Fast-Paced Environment: The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly is essential for this role.
  • Knowledge of Relevant Regulations and Compliance Standards: Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards, such as GDPR, is desirable.
  • Proven Experience as an E-commerce Manager or Marketing Manager: Proven experience as an e-commerce manager or marketing manager, preferably in the laboratory or life sciences sector, is necessary for this role.
  • Strong Understanding of E-commerce Platforms and Online Payment Gateways: A strong understanding of e-commerce platforms and online payment gateways is essential for success in this position.
