Mental Health Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner to join our Neighbourhood Team in Wisbech, focusing on the mental health needs of older adults.
About the RoleThis is a great opportunity to work with a dedicated team delivering high-quality care and interventions for individuals aged 65 and over. You will be part of an integrated team of mental health professionals, including CPNs, psychologists, and social workers, working together to provide comprehensive care.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and intervene with individuals experiencing significant mental health conditions.
- Provide advice and guidance to colleagues on common mental health issues.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to shared care plans.
- Collaborate with the integrated care team to deliver excellent mental health services.
- Clinically assess mental health needs and develop effective treatment plans.
- Relevant professional qualification (Registered Mental Health Nurse or Occupational Therapist or Social worker).
- Training in supervision and appraisal.
- Post-qualifying training.
- Non-medical prescribing qualification.
- Significant experience working within a mental health service.
- Registered Student mentor.

SalaryThe salary for this role is approximately £41,000 - £54,000 per annum, depending on experience.
