About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Night Porter to join our team at Mercure Doncaster. As a Night Porter, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, handling transactions, and ensuring the security and comfort of our guests overnight.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide warm and welcoming service to guests, anticipating their needs and exceeding their expectations
  • Handle cash and credit transactions, as well as complete cash and car reconciliations
  • Conduct night security checks, ensuring the safety and security of the hotel and its guests
  • Prepare and set up service areas, including breakfast and conference and banqueting spaces
  • Perform basic cleaning tasks to maintain a clean and comfortable environment for guests
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Night Porter who is able to work independently and as part of a small team. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to stay calm under pressure and adapt to changing situations.
