Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Ecologist to join our team as a Wildlife Habitat Specialist. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for delivering effective solutions for our Clients and a desire to support the growth and development of the business.

About You

The successful candidate will have a degree in Ecology, Conservation, Earth Sciences, or a related topic, and be a full member of CIEEM (or working towards this). They will have a wide understanding of terrestrial ecological issues and preferably hold at least one protected species licence or have a specialism in one particular area of field-craft/mitigation delivery.

  • Developing and implementing habitat restoration plans for large-scale projects.
  • Drafting technical reports, including Preliminary Ecological Appraisals, Phase 2 survey reports, and licence applications.
  • Supporting the wider UK Team in delivering Biodiversity Net Gain.

This role presents a great opportunity to progress your ecological career from site-based surveys to a more technical role. In this position, you will be able to deliver and oversee the inclusion of ecological mitigation in a range of developments.
