As a Senior Ecologist within our 25-member Ecology team, you will work from one of our two primary offices while contributing to projects throughout the UK, ensuring effective conservation of the nation's wildlife.

In this dynamic role, you will have the opportunity to enhance your ecological expertise through ongoing training and professional development, aligned with our company's commitment to employee satisfaction.

Your key responsibilities include delivering ecological surveys & assessments, preparing comprehensive technical reports, and supporting the Ecology team. Depending on your background, you may engage in tasks like BNG assessments, Botany surveys, UK Habs, Protected Species Surveys, Habitat Regulation Assessments, PEAs, and other ecological practices. As a senior, you will take on project leadership roles and assist junior colleagues with their assigned work.

  • Prior experience with a variety of ecological surveys and associated technical reports.
  • Ability to commute to either the Kent or Hampshire office and flexibility to travel for work purposes.

We estimate the annual salary for this position to be approximately £65,000 - £85,000, considering qualifications and experience.
