Clinical Charge Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Charge Nurse to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) team at the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our nursing team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient-centered care to young people with mental health difficulties.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young people and be committed to providing a safe and supportive environment. You will be responsible for planning clinical care, leading the nursing team, and employing your pre-existing clinical skills to provide therapeutic and effective interventions.

Job Responsibilities- Lead the nursing team to deliver high-quality patient-centered care
- Plan and implement individualized care plans for young people with mental health difficulties
- Develop and maintain relationships with young people, families, and other healthcare professionals
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, reports, and documentation
- Registered Adult Nurse, Registered Mental Health Nurse, or Registered Learning Disabilities Nurse qualification
- Proven experience in acute mental health settings
- Strong clinical skills, leadership abilities, and effective communication
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures
- Ability to work flexible hours, including night shifts and weekends
