Senior Clinical Nurse Leader

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Band 6 Senior Staff Nurse to join our Emergency Department team as a Senior Clinical Nurse Leader. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual with excellent clinical skills and ED experience to enhance their skills and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To take charge of the busy ED on a shift-by-shift basis, providing leadership and guidance to the nursing team.
  • To work streaming/TW shifts to enhance the skill mix at triage, ensuring that patients receive timely and effective care.
  • To be responsible for the day-to-day flow of the department, ensuring that standards of care are met for children and their families/carers while in the emergency department.
Requirements:
  • RN Child branch/RSCN qualification.
  • Substantial post-registration experience, particularly in an ED environment.
  • Safeguarding qualification and PILS certification.
Benefits:

This role offers a competitive salary range of £40,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional development and career advancement within the Trust.
