This is an exciting opportunity to join Devon Community Together's dynamic Community Engagement and Development staff team as a Community Development Officer.
We are seeking a passionate and experienced individual to deliver a portfolio of projects, including frontline work with communities, and support us in achieving our vision of communities shaping their own futures.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver a portfolio of projects, including frontline work with communities
- Support the development of community-led initiatives and projects
- Build and maintain relationships with community groups and stakeholders
- Contribute to the development of community engagement and development strategies
- Provide training and support to community groups and individuals
- Passion for asset-based community development
- Experience in place-based community engagement
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
