Agricultural Liaison Officer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Farm Engagement Officer. The successful candidate will provide support and advice to farm businesses and landowners in the South Devon National Landscape, managing the Farming in Protected Landscapes Programme for the area.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert advice and support to farm businesses and landowners on agri-environment schemes and whole farm planning.
- Develop and implement effective communication strategies to build good working relationships with other advisers and specialists in the area.
- Manage the Farming in Protected Landscapes Programme, ensuring its successful delivery and impact.
- Collaborate with the South Devon National Landscape team to coordinate farm facilitation groups and lead partner projects.
- Strong knowledge of farming and land management practices in the South Devon National Landscape.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and network effectively.
- Proven experience in agri-environment schemes and whole farm planning.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team.
