About the Role

Penguin Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Architectural Technician to join our team. As an Architectural Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Architects and Planning Consultants with design and presentation work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create detailed drawings, plans, and construction drawings to support planning applications and presentations.
  • Apply precise specifications in architectural drawings and maintain organized drawing packages and client/consultant specifications.
  • Develop architectural details and write specifications to a high standard, with a thorough understanding of UK building regulations and planning policies.
  • Ensure all project deadlines are consistently met to the highest standards.
  • Utilize software such as AutoCAD, Adobe, Sketch-Up, and Revit to create visualizations and other illustrative materials.
  • Demonstrate capability in freehand drawing and artwork, which is advantageous but not essential.
Requirements
  • Several years of previous experience working as an Architectural Technician.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Enthusiasm, self-motivation, and a proactive attitude.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Hold a full driving license and have access to own transportation.
