Corylus Planning & Environmental is a multi-disciplinary consultancy seeking a skilled Architectural Technician to join our team in the Architecture and Planning industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare drawings and plans, construction drawings, photomontages, 3D modelling, and visualisations in support of planning applications, presentation work, and contract documentation.
  • Apply precise specifications in architectural drawings and maintain all drawing packages, client/consultants' specifications in an organised manner.
  • Execute architectural details and write specifications to a high standard, with good knowledge and understanding of UK building regulations and planning policies.
  • Ensure all project deadlines are met to the highest standard.
  • Assist in the preparation of illustrated reports, brochures, information leaflets, and marketing materials, maintaining and updating the Company's website or other internal technical documents.
  • Manage and develop computer systems and capabilities.
  • Have knowledge and experience in the use of software packages, including AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch-up, Revit, Lumion, and GIS.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in graphic presentation work relating to architecture, landscape architecture, planning, or allied professions.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Enthusiastic and self-motivated with a can-do attitude.
  • Team player.
  • Full driving licence and use of own car.
