Corylus Planning & Environmental is a leading consultancy that delivers high-quality development services for a wide range of projects.

We are seeking a skilled Architectural Technician to join our dynamic team in the Architecture and Planning industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing drawings and plans, construction drawings, photomontages, 3D modelling and visualisations, and other illustrative material in support of planning applications, presentation work, and contract documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate and detailed drawings and plans, including construction drawings, photomontages, and 3D visualisations.
  • Apply precise specifications in architectural drawings and maintain all drawing packages, client/consultant specifications in an organised manner.
  • Execute architectural details and write specifications to a high standard, with good knowledge and understanding of UK building regulations and planning policies.
  • Ensure all project deadlines are met to the highest standard.
  • Assist in the preparation of illustrated reports, brochures, information leaflets, and marketing materials, maintaining and updating the company's website or other internal technical documents.
  • Manage and develop computer systems and capabilities, with knowledge and experience in the use of software packages such as AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch-up, and Revit.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in graphic presentation work relating to architecture, landscape architecture, planning, or allied professions.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Enthusiastic and self-motivated with a can-do attitude.
  • Team player.
  • Full driving licence and use of own car.
