We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist psychological assessment and treatment to patients across a range of care settings, including outpatient, community, primary care and inpatient settings.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop treatment plans for patients with complex mental health needs.
- Provide evidence-based psychological interventions, including individual and group therapy, to patients across the lifespan.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide consultation, supervision, and teaching to other professionals.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, carers, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality care and support.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures to ensure best practice in mental health care.
We are looking for a candidate with a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent, and a strong background in research methodology, research design, and complex data analysis. The ideal candidate will have experience of working in specialist mental health settings, including inpatient and community services, and will be able to demonstrate a high level of knowledge and skills in psychological assessment and treatment.
