About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team in Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical services to adults with mental health needs, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver effective care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans for adults with mental health conditions
  • Provide evidence-based interventions, including individual and group therapy, to promote recovery and well-being
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care pathways and effective communication
  • Participate in clinical supervision and peer review to maintain high standards of practice
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent qualification
  • Experience of working in adult mental health services, including inpatient and community settings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse groups
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education
