About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Stanley House in Ledbury, a service for men and women with a range of neurological conditions, including Acquired Brain Injury, progressive neurological conditions and complex dementias.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake high quality specialist psychological interventions, clinically supervising an Assistant Psychologist and supporting their professional development.
  • Work therapeutically with service users with complex presentations, undertaking assessments using a broad range of structured psychometric and semi-structured clinical methods.
  • Formulate and implement plans of specialist psychological interventions, maintaining high standards of care in all areas of practice in accordance with the HCPC Code of Conduct, professional guidelines and Company Policies and Procedures.
Requirements
  • BPS recognised psychology degrees and Chartered Psychologist status
  • Registration with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Approved supervisor within the guidelines of the BPS
  • Understanding of evidence-based psychological practice
  • Experience of applying psychological knowledge to neurological services
  • Experience working with clients with neurocognitive deficits
