Job Title: Recruitment Administration Assistant

A temporary position for a Recruitment Administration Assistant has arisen to provide ongoing support to the HR department on a temporary basis.

The role encompasses various recruitment and administration duties, including preparing job vacancies, supporting recruitment processes, and monitoring new staff inductions.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare job advertisements
  2. Support recruitment procedures, including DBS checks, right-to-work checks, and obtaining references
  3. Monitor induction programs for new employees
  4. Organize attendance hearings
  5. Collate performance management documents
  6. Coordinate staff timesheets
  7. Take minutes during meetings
  8. Prepare agendas, reports, and resource materials
  9. Handle phone calls and take messages
Requirements:
  1. Candidates must have an Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service
  2. Educated to GCSE level or equivalent, with English and Maths at Grade 'C' or above
  3. Strong background in administration/recruitment
  4. Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, Publisher, and Outlook
  5. Excellent communication and customer service skills
  6. Minute-taking skills
  7. Ability to proofread documents
  8. Understanding of confidentiality maintenance

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
Estimated Salary: £12.65 per hour
