About the Role
  • Support clients with daily activities, such as meal preparation, light domestic tasks, and personal care
  • Provide full-time companionship and conversation to combat loneliness and isolation
  • Accompany clients to appointments, social engagements, and errands, promoting social inclusion
  • Work towards agreed outcomes for service users, including teaching life skills and promoting independence

 

Key Responsibilities
  1. Personal care may involve washing, bathing, showering, oral care, dressing, toileting, continence management, and assistance with eating
  2. Assist clients with medication administration and use of moving and handling equipment, if necessary
  3. Communicate effectively with family, friends, and healthcare professionals on behalf of clients
  4. Record and report client progress, ensuring accurate documentation

 

The Ideal Candidate
  • Must have at least 6 months of care experience
  • Ideal candidate has a driving license and access to their own vehicle
  • Up-to-date DBS certificate required
