Job Overview:
Avenues Group is a community-driven organization that supports people with learning disabilities, autism, and epilepsy. We are seeking a Part Time Assistant Service Manager to join our team at our service based in Horley.

About the Role:
This is a job share opportunity for a 24 hour contract per week. As an Assistant Service Manager, you will support a good team to provide excellent support to individuals with complex needs. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting people with learning disabilities and/or other health needs, as well as knowledge of sector relevant legislation and regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a successful and positive team
- Understand the balance between keeping our people safe and positive risk taking
- Stay up to date with policies and procedures to carry out and maintain safe and best practices
- Support the Service Manager to recruit new employees and develop and manage your staff team in a fair and consistent manner
