We are looking for a dedicated Young People Advocate to join our RISE Highland Service. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with colleagues to provide person-centred support to young people who are at risk of exploitation.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the risks associated with child exploitation and the importance of trauma-informed care. You will be able to develop and implement effective strategies that support young people in their recovery.

The salary for this position is estimated to be £**32,000 - £38,000** per annum, depending on experience. This contract has a permanent status, subject to funding until March 2026, with possible extension.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing support to young people to help them manage risk and develop coping strategies
  • Working closely with colleagues to deliver person-centred support packages
  • Developing and implementing effective strategies to reduce the risk to vulnerable children and young people
