Job DescriptionAs an IT Placement student at GE Aviation, you will have the opportunity to gain invaluable skills and experience in the field of Information Technology. You will be working on projects that contribute to the production of advanced jet engines, components, and integrated systems that power commercial and military aircraft.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide support in either business or technical areas of Information Technology
- Work on projects that involve designing, deploying, and maintaining technologies and systems to address the ever-changing needs of our customers and business
- Collaborate with a team of experienced professionals to deliver projects and achieve business objectives
- Develop and maintain technical skills and knowledge in areas such as application/web development, security/controllership, and digitization of shopfloor processes
- Currently studying or recently achieved an Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Management, IT Project Management, ICT or Digital Technology bachelor's or master's degree
- Passionate about Information Technology
- On course or achieved a 2:1 degree
- Able to roll up your sleeves and get involved in projects
- Organised and able to work towards deadlines
- Inspired and curious to learn
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Able to take ownership for projects
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Able to work as part of a team

Security Clearance:Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance is required and must be maintained for this role.
