Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Health and Safety Specialist to join our team for a 12-month placement. As an EHS Specialist, you will provide support to all areas of the site, including office functions, operations, and engineering, and promote and implement EHS policies and procedures internally and externally to maintain EHS regulations/legislations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review accident reports and establish proactive health and safety programs
  • Coordinate employee health and safety activities
  • Support the development and implementation of EHS policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with EHS regulations
Requirements
  • Currently studying or recently achieved an Environmental Management related bachelor's or master's degree
  • On course or achieved a 2:1 degree
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
