Development Support Specialist

Key responsibilities include acting as the main point of contact for learners, mentors, and employers throughout the programme of learning. You will also deliver coaching, support, and IAG to meet employer and learner needs, including coaching mentors to deliver appropriate training to the apprentice. In addition, you will familiarise workplace supervisors and mentors with assessment/monitoring/off-the-job processes and escalate issues where relevant.
The ideal candidate will have a relevant transport and logistics qualification at Level 3, a Level 3 Assessor award, and Maths and English at equivalent of Functional Skills Level 2 or above. Knowledge of current safeguarding and prevent requirements is also essential. Nice to have qualifications include knowledge of Smart Assessor, Microsoft Office, and the Apprenticeship Levy, as well as a Level 3 Teaching qualification.
