Job Summary

The Engineering Support Specialist at Raytheon Technologies is responsible for providing essential support for the organization, planning, and execution of technology development projects.

About the Role

  • This specialist will assist the IPT Lead with project management activities, including work breakdown, project plan development, ongoing project maintenance, communication, and action tracking for engineering product development.
  • The successful candidate will coordinate deliverables planning, tracking, and documentation for technology development projects, facilitate collaboration across engineering, adjacent functions, and business units, and implement standardized templates and checklists to enhance quality and consistency.
  • This individual will also track and manage project finances, including schedule and cost adherence, provide updates on project control metrics such as earned value performance, and organize, schedule, and participate in project review sessions.
  • The specialist will facilitate global collaboration among the engineering team by coordinating meetings, communications, and resource allocation, manage and coordinate Inter-entity Work Agreements and NDAs related to technology development, and oversee facility management.
  • In this role, you will develop and implement project management processes to support effective execution of technology development projects, foster a culture of continuous improvement, establish a standard meeting schedule, and encourage best practices in meeting etiquette.
  • You will also manage and maintain the ASG SharePoint site, ensuring compliance with GT/ITC requirements, coordinate alignment activities such as Macro Planning, PDPRs, and Obeya management, and support site CORE accreditation and compliance.
  • This position offers an estimated annual salary of $130,000 - $190,000 based on experience and qualifications.

Requirements

  • A degree in a relevant field and 3-5 years of experience in project coordination or a related field.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills to work effectively across teams.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively, drive project outcomes, and exhibit a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
  • Familiarity with project management tools, templates, and processes to improve productivity and project visibility.
  • Experience managing project financials, including cost adherence and scheduling, and generating and interpreting project performance metrics.
