Job Description

Job Title: Automation Sales Engineer - Factory Automation, Drive & Control Division

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Automation Sales Engineer to join our team at Robert Bosch Group. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting and selling automation products, systems, and services to a group of customers (System Integrators, End-users, Original Equipment Manufacturers) through distributors or direct sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote and sell automation products, systems, and services to potential customers in your assigned territory.
  • Take full responsibility and accountability to sell and exceed the assigned sales target.
  • Focus on core segments including Automotive, Electronic, Steel, Ceramic, Water, Mining, and other relevant industries.
  • Detect potential partners inside the targeted segment and develop them into System Integrators who are experts in Bosch Rexroth FA product platforms.
  • Promote and sell Bosch Rexroth platforms to targeted OEM/End-users in strategic segments through SI partnership.
  • Work with Product Application Engineers to convert competitor products used by customers to Bosch Rexroth.
  • Collaborate with SI/OEM to capture new projects of key account customers related to upgrading systems or new line investments.
  • Align with the company's focus (strategy and execution), utilize and follow CRM tools to ensure productivity of sales work, respect company culture to engage customers.

Requirements:

  • Education: University degrees in engineering (electrical/automation/mechanical).
  • Working Experience: 5+ years of experience in relevant industries, technical design or commissioning engineer, End-user sales engineer, system integrator sales, automation/mechanical component sales, project management experience a plus.
  • Business Understanding: Industrial machine knowledge, automation system/machine design and architecture, master products/systems/solutions (mechanical/automation & electrical control devices).
  • Variable Speed Drives/PLC/Servomotor/robotic and its applications.
  • Segment expertise in automation and application.
  • Automation Platform and architectures (Hardware and software).
  • Industrial Communication protocol and network.

Preferred Skills:

  • Good command of spoken and written English and Vietnamese.
  • Computer literate and presentation skills.
  • Organized, structured, and good analytical skills.
  • Customer platforming and set up adaptive action plan to gain market share.
  • Customer account management.
  • Project Management.
  • Ability to influence and convince.
  • Customer focus and result-oriented.
