About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Children's Home Registered Manager to join our team at CareTech Group. As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for leading a residential home and working in partnership with the local authority to meet their needs.

This is a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of young people and be part of a innovative joint venture with Stockton Borough Council.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop comprehensive care plans to address the needs of each young person
  • Develop and manage a high-performing team to provide exceptional care and support
  • Foster consultation with young people to ensure their voices are heard
  • Allocate key workers to each young person to implement their care plan
  • Maintain high standards of care and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Handle complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to promote the welfare of young people
Requirements
  • Relevant experience in residential care of children, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
  • Knowledge of childcare legislation and regulatory requirements
  • Efficient planning, organizing, and budget control skills
  • Confident communication and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of the needs of children with behavioural, emotional, and social difficulties
