Children's Home Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Children's Home Registered Manager to join our team at CareTech Group. As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for leading a residential home and working in partnership with the local authority to meet their needs.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive care plans for each young person, addressing their care, education, social, emotional, cultural, therapeutic, and health needs.
- Build and manage a high-performing team, ensuring that each young person has a Key Worker assigned to implement their care plan.
- Establish and maintain high-quality care standards, in line with National Minimum Standards and the Home's Statement of Purpose.
- Collaborate with parents, carers, and other professionals to promote the welfare of young people.
- Participate in child care planning and review meetings, ensuring that each young person's needs are met.
- At least 2 years of experience in a position related to residential care of children, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role within the last 5 years.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent), or willingness to start within 6 months of employment.
- Knowledge of The Quality Standards, SCCIF, childcare legislation, and regulatory requirements.
- Efficient planning, organizing, budget control, resource allocation, and team leadership skills.
- Confidence in effective spoken and written communication.
- Understanding of the needs of children with behavioural, emotional and social difficulties, including managing challenging behaviour.
- Full UK driving license.
