Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our thoracic surgery team at St. Bartholomew's Hospital.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced nurse to contribute to the expansion of specialist services and support patients and their families through treatment and follow-up.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing expertise across various clinical settings, including outpatients
  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centred care to patients undergoing thoracic surgery
  • Participate in service development, quality and safety initiatives, audit and research
  • Enhance patient experiences by offering expert support and coordinating care throughout the patients' journey
Requirements
  • Degree-level RN qualification
  • Post-registration course or experience in cardiothoracic / oncology
  • Teaching / Assessment / Mentoring qualification
  • Leadership/management course
  • ILS (Infection Prevention and Control)
