Job Title: Aerospace Systems Engineer

Location: Warton/Samlesbury - This role will require you to work on site at either our Warton or Samlesbury sites in Lancashire for most of the week. At your line manager's discretion, there will be the opportunity to work from home up to 2 days per week.

Salary: £35,047-£45,154 (dependent on skills and experience)

We are seeking a skilled Aerospace Systems Engineer to join our Mission Systems teams at BAE Systems Air. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in the development of new capability and the design of system architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Composing system and sub-system technical requirements
  • Designing system architectures and modelling performance using simulations
  • Collaborating with customers and cross-functional teams to meet requirements
  • Critically analysing problems and proposing bold solutions to challenges

Requirements:

  • A degree in the field of Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science or Engineering
  • Notable Post-Education Experience in an engineering or technology role
  • Experience with systems engineering toolsets (e.g. MATLAB, Simulink, Cameo, IBM DOORS, PLM Teamcenter)
