BAE Systems is seeking a highly skilled Air Conditioning Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Mechanical HVAQ team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative HVAC solutions for next-generation nuclear submarines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop functional engineering solutions that meet complex cross-functional interactions and requirements.
  • Engage with suppliers to develop and capture equipment and component specifications.
  • Work with customers to develop requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Perform and review engineering calculations and analysis.
  • Develop design evidence to justify safe and effective designs.
  • Coordinate and manage stakeholder interactions.

Requirements:

  • Educated to Degree level in Engineering, Mechanical or Science Subjects.
  • Experience with HVAC or Cooling Systems.
  • Experience in design and development of Mechanical Systems.
  • Design documentation and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, FEA, Matlab, and other relevant tools.
  • Strong communication skills.
