Agriculture Area Business Development Manager

This is a unique opportunity to join Mercury Hampton Ltd as a Technical Area Sales Executive. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for business activities throughout the Northwest of England and North Wales region.
The successful candidate will take ownership of account management and new client acquisition, with a focus on strategic key account management and new business development. You will have a diverse client base, working within industrial, process, and manufacturing environments, selling technical solutions and mechanical engineering expertise.
You will work from a home office with regular customer visits throughout the sales region, supported by a team of internal sales engineers who will assist with technical backup and closing sales. We are looking for a strong account manager with business development skills, a mechanical engineering background, and experience in sales. Estimated salary: £45,000 - £58,000 basic salary (experience dependent) plus benefits.
Key Responsibilities- Manage existing clients and develop new business opportunities through strategic key account management.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers across various industries and sectors.
- Work closely with internal teams to provide technical support and ensure seamless sales processes.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue growth goals.
