We are seeking a Quality Compliance Manager to join our team at Domus Recruitment. This exciting opportunity has arisen in Northumberland for a Deputy Manager to assist a National Provider by helping to lead a dedicated staff team in a Supported Living service for Adults with Learning Disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Registered Manager with the running of the service and deputise in their absence.
  • Provide leadership & advice to colleagues and undertake line management responsibilities.
  • Support the manager with Quality and Compliance responsibilities, ensuring the service is in line with CQC regulations.
  • Contribute to and have oversight of reviewing reports, records and care plans to ensure they remain compliant with legal and organisational requirements.
  • Manage systems and procedures effectively in a timely manner including colleague rotas and incident reporting.
  • Assess and ensure the quality of care given is of a high standard by supporting the manager to implement processes.
Requirements
  • Must hold an NVQ Level 3, ideally hold or be working towards NVQ Level 3/4/5.
  • Experience preparing for a CQC inspection.
  • Understanding of CQC, national minimum standards and key care principles.
  • Knowledge and understanding of working with Learning Disabilities and Mental Health support needs.
  • Understanding of safeguarding adults at risk, health & safety requirements related to running a care home and infection control.
