Special Needs Teaching Assistant Role

We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with students, teachers, and other staff members to create a safe, interactive, and engaging learning environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting students with special educational needs, creating individualized learning plans, and implementing strategies to enhance their learning and social skills. They will also work collaboratively with the class teacher to develop and implement lesson plans, and provide feedback to parents and carers.
Requirements and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with special educational needs, preferably in a mainstream school setting. A strong understanding of child development, behavior management, and communication skills is essential. They should also be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have good organizational and time-management skills.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position is approximately £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer on-site parking, close proximity to public transport, and a bonus referral scheme.
