About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join our team at a mainstream school in Brent. This is a full-time, long-term assignment starting September 2024, for the full academic year.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support students with special educational needs in a collaborative classroom setting, working closely with the class teacher to assist with lesson plans and classroom activities.
  • Create a safe, interactive, and engaging learning environment that enhances the social skills and academic development of students.
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to students, tailoring your approach to meet their individual needs.
