Airline Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

We're seeking a skilled B1 Licenced Aircraft Engineer to join our team at London City Airport.

This is an exciting opportunity to work for British Airways, part of the world's largest airline group. As a CAA Part 66 B1/B2 or unrestricted B1 Licenced Aircraft Engineer, you'll be responsible for carrying out line maintenance on our modern Embraer 190 fleet.

What You'll Do:
  • You'll report to the Duty Station Maintenance Manager and carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance as well as defect rectification.
  • You'll demonstrate sound knowledge of current CAA Part 145 procedures and be flexible in your approach to meet operational challenges.

In return, we offer a competitive salary of £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus excellent staff travel benefits.

Your Experience:

We're looking for candidates with previous experience working in a line maintenance environment as a B1 or B1/B2 certifying engineer and hold a CAA Unrestricted Part 66 B1 or B1/B2 Licence with at least one type rating held.

A current Embraer 190 type rating is desirable, but type training will be provided to successful candidates.
