Job Title: Field Service Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at We Help Recruit. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and maintaining industrial production machinery across the UK.

You will be part of a dynamic team that provides high-quality, environmentally friendly solutions to meet the needs of diverse customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service, repair, and maintain packaging machines to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Fill out service reports, including photos of issues and parts replaced, to maintain accurate records.
  • Support weekend, Bank Holiday, and out-of-hours call coverage as necessary, especially during peak seasons.
  • Provide telephone on-call service in and out of working hours to ensure prompt support.
  • Maintain a budget and small spares stock to ensure efficient operations.
Requirements
  • Centrally located in the UK to minimize travel time and maximize efficiency.
  • Great Britain coverage only, excluding Ireland and Northern Ireland.
  • Ability to drive and travel up to 45,000 miles per annum, with estimated travel time.
  • Experience as an electromechanical and/or electronic engineer, with a strong understanding of industrial production machinery.
