Job Title: Field Service Engineer

Job Summary:

We Help Recruit is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and maintaining industrial production machinery across the UK. This role requires extensive travel, up to 45k miles annually, to support customers, provide out-of-hours call coverage, and manage spare parts.

Responsibilities:

• Service and repair packaging machines to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
• Conduct thorough inspections and diagnose issues to determine the root cause of problems
• Develop and implement effective solutions to resolve issues and prevent future problems
• Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored support
• Maintain accurate records of service activities, including service reports and parts replaced

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in electromechanical or electronic engineering
• Strong knowledge of industrial production machinery and packaging equipment
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive company van
