Programme Manager Job Overview


We are seeking a highly skilled Programme Manager to deliver a complex programme of work. The successful candidate will be responsible for scoping out projects, managing senior stakeholders, and working with vendors to achieve business objectives.


Main Responsibilities



  • Support the Head of Change Management and other senior IT management stakeholders in programme delivery and governance
  • Develop programme scoping and definition of workstreams
  • Drive successful programme delivery through proactive management of dependencies, issues, and risks
  • Ensure delivery is consistent with the agreed delivery model and standards
  • Communicate with business owners and programme stakeholders to enable project delivery
  • Manage escalations to avoid impact on overall delivery
  • Establish and drive IT governance mechanisms in alignment with programme governance approach
  • Follow agreed IT demand and governance processes
  • Stakeholder communication and vendor management
  • Continuously strive for best practice at programme level
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to facilitate solutions

Requirements



  • 5+ years' experience as a Programme Manager
  • Senior stakeholder engagement experience
  • Excellent project planning skills
  • IT delivery experience
  • 3rd level qualification in relevant field or similar
  • Ability to manage large programme of work with multiple project workstreams
  • PRINCE 2, PMP or similar Project Management certification
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Presentation skills
