Programme Risk Management Lead

As a Programme Risk Management Lead, you will be responsible for providing oversight and governance for ERP and technology projects, ensuring they adhere to the organisation's project management framework and methodologies. You will identify, assess, and manage risks throughout the program lifecycle, developing and implementing risk mitigation and contingency plans to minimize potential impacts on the program's success.

You will establish quality assurance processes and standards to ensure program deliverables meet the required specifications and are fit for their intended purpose. You will communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation, including executive leadership, project sponsors, functional leads, and end-users, to ensure their needs are understood and addressed.

You will oversee change management activities to facilitate the adoption of new systems and processes, ensuring the ERP system and related technology initiatives comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and internal policies.

You will monitor the program's progress against key performance indicators (KPIs), timelines, and budgets, providing regular reports to senior management and other stakeholders on the program's status and any issues that arise.

You will stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices in ERP systems and technology program management, conducting post-implementation reviews to assess the program's effectiveness, identify lessons learned, and make recommendations for future initiatives.

You will monitor and report on the realisation of benefits associated with the ERP/technology program, ensuring that the expected business outcomes are achieved.

Requirements:

  • Approximately 10+ years' experience in a management consulting or similar advisory role in industry or the public sector
  • Approximately 15+ years of ERP / Technology Project Management and Programme Assurance
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with a track record in managing complex stakeholder programmes
  • Good understanding of ERP / Technology project management principles
  • Additional professional qualifications, such as PRINCE2 or PMP, are desirable
