About the Role

Vaccination UK is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Immunisation Programme Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our School-Aged Immunisation Service, you will be responsible for facilitating various programmes promoting, delivering, and directed by management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning, delivery, and evaluation of health promotion/education and public health school-age immunisation programmes.
  • Promote and facilitate collaborative working between teams, schools, and other educational institutions and families in the delivery of the immunisation programme.
  • Ensure the necessary requirements for storing and transporting immunisations, and the procedures for collecting and delivering vaccinations to the site.
  • Assist in identifying home-schooled children and those in Pupil Referral Units.
  • Maintain databases to ensure records are kept up to date and documents are prepared for school visits.
  • Adhere to the Standard Operating Procedure for School Immunisation (SOPs).
  • First point of contact for all administrative tasks.
  • Responsible for maintaining the cold chain, ordering, and arranging transport of vaccinations to site.
  • Actively and constructively contribute to team meetings.
  • Undertake other duties commensurate with the level of this position.
  • Comply with Company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Prioritise and manage own workload without supervision.
  • Assertive, team player, and critical thinker.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Excellent IT skills.
  • Must be able to drive.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • GCSE level of education or equivalent with a minimum of grade C in both English and Maths.
