School Immunisation Nurse

Job Overview
The successful candidate will be tasked with executing clinical responsibilities associated with immunisation, primarily conducted on-site in educational institutions for children in both primary and secondary settings within community health facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer vaccinations to 20 to 25 schoolchildren per hour during peak flu season.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, organizational entities, and stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Advocate for and enhance the operations of our School Aged Immunisation Service.
- Provide support to Programme Managers, Team Leaders, and Clinical Leads as necessary.
- Travel to various sites as required.
- Deliver a high standard of evidence-based care to patients.
- Engage in clinical supervision and contribute to the professional development of staff.
- Ensure that all clinical incidents, near misses, and complaints are documented, monitored, and addressed in accordance with organizational policies.
- Participate in audits, offering recommendations based on findings and sharing results with the team for collective learning.
- Attend clinical supervision sessions with the Clinical Lead as directed.
- Actively participate in team meetings with constructive input.
- Conduct Gillick Competency Assessments and obtain verbal consent from parents and guardians.
- Perform additional duties that align with the responsibilities of this role.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
