Residential Deputy Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Residential Deputy Manager to join our team at North Lakes Children's Services. As a key member of our management team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young people in our residential homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of residential care staff to ensure the delivery of excellent care and support to young people.
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of each young person.
  • Work closely with the Residential Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the home and the delivery of our services.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote the well-being and safety of young people.
  • Collaborate with other agencies and professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for young people.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Residential Childcare/Families Practitioner Diploma/Children and Young People's Workforce/NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
  • Have excellent communication and listening skills, with the ability to work well as part of a small team.
  • Be willing to learn and develop your skills and knowledge to meet the needs of the role.
  • Have a full, clean UK driving licence and be able to cover at other Residential Homes as and when needed.

  • A sleep-in allowance of £62.64 per night, with potential extra earnings of up to £3257.28.
  • Shift Rotation: 2 days on, 2 days off, with staggered start times ranging from 8am, 12noon or 2pm.
