Make a Difference:

As a Domestic Violence Expert at Birmingham and Solihull Women's Aid, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of women and children affected by domestic violence and abuse. You will work closely with professionals within Birmingham Children's Trust to provide training and support on domestic violence and abuse.

With your expertise around domestic violence and abuse, you will provide information, support, and signposting for women disclosing experiences of domestic violence/abuse, and help build understanding of safe and appropriate interventions with women and children.

You will also have the opportunity to contribute to improving practice and building understanding of safe and appropriate interventions, and to work with a passionate team dedicated to supporting vulnerable communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide training and support to professionals on domestic violence and abuse
  • Build understanding of safe and appropriate interventions with women and children
  • Offer information, support, and signposting for women disclosing experiences of domestic violence/abuse

Salary: £33,000 - £36,500 per annum (dependent on experience)
