DVA Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Domestic Violence Advocate Lead to join our team at Birmingham & Solihull Women's Aid.

The successful candidate will bring expertise around DVA into teams within Birmingham Children's Trust, improving practice and providing training and support to professionals. They will also provide information, support, and signposting for women disclosing experiences of domestic violence/abuse.

• To build understanding of safe and appropriate interventions with women and children among teams in Birmingham Children's Trust.
• To provide expert guidance and support to professionals in developing effective strategies for addressing domestic violence.

This role requires a deep understanding of domestic violence and its impact on individuals and communities. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders. A strong background in advocacy and a passion for supporting survivors of domestic violence are essential.
